Micro Bikini
“Micro bikini” generally refers to very minimal-coverage swimwear. On live-cam platforms the tag often functions as a presentation/style category. See our Micro Bikini guide and micro-bikini trend explainer.
String Bikini
String bikinis use narrow side or tie elements and are a broad fashion category. Platform tagging is inconsistent, so a string-bikini room may also appear under micro or general bikini labels.
Triangle Bikini
Triangle tops are one of the most recognizable bikini silhouettes. On cam sites this term is more likely to appear in descriptions or performer tags than as a top-level navigation category.
Bandeau and Strapless Styles
Bandeau designs use a strapless or near-strapless top shape. These are useful fashion descriptors but often have less search volume inside adult platforms than broader “bikini” labels.
High-Waisted and Retro-Inspired Styles
High-waisted bottoms provide a different silhouette from low-rise or string styles. They may appear under fashion-oriented tags rather than dedicated adult categories.
Oiled / Glossy Presentation
Oiled Bikini is not a garment construction. It is a presentation tag describing a glossy or oiled visual style, which is why it overlaps with multiple bikini cuts.
Why Platform Tags Overlap
One room can legitimately fit several labels at once: a performer might wear a string-style micro bikini while also appearing under a hair-color or broad demographic tag. Our category system therefore treats clothing/style tags separately from appearance and audience-discovery tags.
How to Browse More Precisely
Start with the garment style if clothing presentation is what matters. Use a secondary category only when it helps narrow the live-room list. If a platform does not explain its tags, treat them as discovery labels rather than precise definitions.
Editorial convention: We define garment terms conservatively and avoid inventing platform-wide statistics about which style is “most popular” unless measured data is available.
