Tips and virtual credits
Viewers purchase tokens or credits from the platform and use them for tips or interactive features. The value a performer ultimately receives can differ from what the viewer paid for the same virtual currency.
Private or group shows
Some platforms charge by the minute for private or group sessions. Rates may be set by the performer, the platform or a combination of both. Always check the current interface rather than relying on an old rate quoted elsewhere.
Subscriptions and fan features
Some services offer recurring subscriptions, paid media or fan-club features. These can change the economics from one-time tipping toward recurring audience support.
Promotions and referral programs
Some performers may receive referral or promotional revenue under platform-specific programs. These arrangements are commercial terms and can change without notice.
What Determines Earnings?
There is no trustworthy universal hourly rate. Factors can include hours online, audience size, pricing, repeat viewers, platform rules, geography, language, schedule consistency and business expenses. Published anecdotes should not be treated as representative earnings data.
Viewer Cost vs. Performer Revenue
A common source of confusion is assuming that a $10 viewer purchase means $10 reaches a performer. Platforms operate payment processing, infrastructure, moderation and marketplace services, and their revenue share varies.
